Cassidy Root is a mixed media artist whose talent spans a myriad of creative explorations by testing the boundaries of materials while unveiling her own. She completed her BFA degree from Oregon State University in 2011, and currently resides in adventure-inspiring Central Oregon. In 2016, she graduated with a Masters of Professional Studies degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute while living in Brooklyn, NY. It wasn't long until the Pacific Northwest called out a sweet song of return, thus she moved back to Bend, Oregon. She was back to her roots. Her time spent learning all about the creative representations and manifestations of the human psyche truly enriched her own creative expression and enhanced a growing ability to communicate with others. She continues to explore her own art-making process while helping others examine their own.
